OMAHA, NE — Beginning September 28, 2025, Jefferson Lines will assume operation of intercity bus service between Omaha and Chicago, previously provided by Burlington Trailways. This transition reflects Jefferson Lines’ long-standing commitment to keeping Midwest communities connected and ensuring passengers continue to have access to essential travel options.
The route offers direct service between Omaha and Chicago, with stops in key communities along the corridor and convenient connections to destinations across the United States. Jefferson Lines will maintain many existing schedules and stop locations, ensuring a seamless travel experience backed by more than 100 years of delivering safe, reliable, and comfortable service.
