New service in Mason City provides greater access to destinations across the Midwest and Eastern U.S.

MASON CITY, IA — Effective June 30, 2026, Jefferson Lines will launch new routes connecting Mason City and Clear Lake, IA to Waterloo, Dubuque and Cedar Rapids. Jefferson Lines will also introduce new daytime service from Mason City and Clear Lake to Iowa City and Chicago.   

The new route strengthens transportation options throughout Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota while improving connections to Jefferson Lines’ national network. Passengers traveling from Mason City will depart from the Mason City Municipal Airport, located at 9184 265th St., Clear Lake, IA 50428. Passengers traveling from Clear Lake will depart from 3205 Willow Creek Ct., Clear Lake, IA 50428. Both locations offer a central departure point for passengers traveling to communities across Iowa, Illinois and beyond.
